SAVAR (DHAKA): An Ansar was found dead in Hemayetpur area of Savar, outskirts of the capital, on Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Bhabasindhu Roy, 35, hailed from Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district.

Sub-Inspector of Savar Model Thana Tapos Kumar told banglanews that he went to sleep after his night shift duty and he was found dead in the noon.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, he added.

An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the thana, he added.
