DMCH interns call off Wednesday’s strike

DHAKA: Interns of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) called off their Wednesday’s strike.

Dr Mostafa Rezwan Siddique, who was leading the strike, confirmed the matter to banglanews on Monday evening.

He said they would join work from 9:00pm and continue movement as per announcement of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).

Earlier in the morning, BMA announced 1-hr work abstention of doctors on May 14 protesting assault on doctors.
