NARAYANGANJ: Police arrested the third accused of sensational Narayanganj seven-murder from Benapole boder of Jessore while trying to escape to India early Wednesday, said a source of district police.

The detainee is Hasmat Alo Hasu, one of the top aide of prime accused Nur Hossain, also son of Darog Ali, of Mijmiji Dakkhin para area of Siddirganj.

Nrayanganj district DB Officer-in-Charge Mamunur Rashid Mondol, also investigation officer of the case, could not be contactd for comments regarding the matter.

But State Minsiter for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police sources said Hasu was under close survielence for last few days. and his whereabouts was traced thtough mobile phone tracking. For arrest him, several teams of police and detective branch of police took position in Jessore. At last, Hasu was arrested early Wednesday while trying to intrude into India through Benapole border.
