DHAKA: Police recovered body of a housemaid in Dhanmondi area of the city on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Nurjahan Begum, 55, hailed from Kotwali area of Mymensingh, who used to work at the house of Professor Dr Mahabubur Rahman on Road No. 27 of the area.

Dhanmondi Thana Sub-Inspector Nurul Haque told banglanews, “Nurjahan went out of the house without informing anyone around 9:30pm.”

Later, the members of the house searched for her without any result, he added. On the next day, neighbors found her body.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
