Maxim group chair,MD among 22 sued

DHAKA: Anti-corruption Commission sued some 22 officials of Maxim Group, a multi-level marketing company, including its chairman and managing director for misappropriating TK 304 crore of general people.

ACC deputy-director Nur Hossain Khan filed the case with Ramna Model Thana around 11:30am Monday.

ACC deputy director (Public Relation) Pranab Kumar Bhattachariya confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The accused are Maxim Group chairman Md Mofizul Huq, Managing Director Habibur Rahman, directors M Mostafijur Rahman, Khairul Bashar Sajal, Abdul Hannan Sarker, Syed Shariful Islam and HM Amirul Islam.

The anti-graft body brought allegation against the accused for dwindling TK 304,10, 53, 000 with forgery.
