MUNSHIGANJ: Three persons were brunt to death and 20 others injured as a bus catches fire after a collision with another bus in Chaltipara union under Sirajdikhan upazila of the district on Monday noon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that two passenger buses collided head-on in the area around 12:30pm, and then one of the buses was ablaze, leaving three persons dead on the spot and 20 others injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Mitford Hospital and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Sirajdikhan Thana Abul Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
