DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed authorities concerned use scary pictures in broadcast media. 

The premier also asked information minister Hasanul Haque Inu to take necessary steps in this regard.

The direction came from a cabinet meeting held at secretariat on Monday following some broadcast reports with distorted pictures on Munshiganj launch victim.

Hasina said distorted picture which are being broadcast in televisions, may affect children and old age people especially weak heart people.

Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed asserted to include a provision against such case into broadcasting policy.
