DHAKA: Recently removed additional attorney general MK Rahman Tuesday sought release from his position as coordinator of prosecution of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).

MK Rahman himself carried his letter to the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry in this regard.

The government removed MK Rahman from his duty of additional attorney general on Monday (May 19).

President Abdul Hamid removed him by canceling his appointment.

The disclosure came from a press release signed by law, justice and parliamentary affairs ministry secretary Aminul Islam.
