BRAHMANBARIA: Two children drowned in Titas River and a canal at Nabinagar upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.  

The deceased were identified as Kalon Mia, 4, son of Humayun Mia of Dopakanda village and Javed, 2, son of Abed Mia of Panshchim union under the upazila.   

Locals said Kalon Mia went to Titas River for taking bath in the noon and drowned.

Later, he was rushed to upazila health complex where doctors declared him dead.    

On the other hand, kid Javed drowned in a pond near his house.
