GAZIPUR: Rail communications from Dhaka to the country’s northern region has resumed after six hours on Wednesday afternoon.                           

Earlier Rangpur Express was halted at Gazipur’s Kaliakoir upazila’s Matikata rail crossing area due to the technical problem of a wheel of the train in the morning.    

Kamalapur Railway Thana Sub-Inspector Dadan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

It had disconnected Dhaka’s rail communication with country’s northern region, he added.
