DHAKA: A fire broke out at a six-storied building in city’s Bijoynagar Panir Tanki area early Saturday.

Sources said that the fire might be originated from an electric short circuit or mosquito coil at the second floor in the building around 12:15pm. 

On information, two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

No causalities were reported as all the residents went out of the building immediate after seeing the fire. 

Three computers of a travel agency, which was located in the second floor of the building, were burnt to ashes.
