50 fishermen abducted at Mongla

MONGLA, BAGERHAT: Forest robbers abducted 50 fishermen from Harbaria area of Poshur Channel under Mongla port in the district on Saturday morning.

Sources said that robbers of Chotu Bahini abducted the fishermen and took them into the deep forest of Sundarbans.

Meanwhile, the forest robbers freed a fisherman to collect the ransom.
