DHAKA: At least five police personnel sustained injuries as a sound grenade exploded incautiously at Rajarbagh Police Lines of the city on Saturday afternoon.

The details of the injured could not be known immediately.

The explosion occurred when the police members were undergoing training for attending the United Nations Peace Keeping Operation at 5:00pm.

The inured are undergoing treatment at Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital, said Sarwar Hossain, a reserved inspector (RI) at the police lines.
