NARAYANGANJ: Police arrested Jannatul Ferdaus Neela, friend of key accused Nur Hossain in Narayanganj sensational seven-murder case, from her Siddhirganj residence in another killing case.

She, women councilor (reserved seat) of Narayanganj 4, 5 and 6 no. wards, was arrested around 7:00 am Monday for her suspected link in a case of Shiddhirganj Thana for a killing a youth named Jewel.

Initially she was taken to Siddhirganj thana and later sent to the court.

Earlier on May 18, Detective Branch of police quizzed her in Narayanganj seven-murder case.

Officer-in-Charge of Siddhirganj Thana Alauddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
