NARAYANGANJ: A Narayanganj court placed Jannatul Ferdaus Neela, friend of key accused Nur Hossain in Narayanganj sensational seven-murder case, on a three-day remand for police interrogation in another killing case.

Narayanganj chief judicial magistrate Jabid Hossain on Monday passed the order in response to a 7-day remand petition.

Earlier, police arrested Jannatul Ferdaus Neela from her Siddhirganj residence in a case filed for a killing a youth named Jewel.

 She, also women councilor (reserved seat) of Narayanganj 4, 5 and 6 no. wards, was arrested around 7:00 am Monday for her suspected link in the killing case of Shiddhirganj Thana.

Initially she was taken to Siddhirganj thana and later sent to the court.

Earlier on May 18, Detective Branch of police quizzed her in Narayanganj seven-murder case.

Officer-in-Charge of Siddhirganj Thana Alauddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
