DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Monday placed police constable Mashakul Dawla Al Masud on a three-day remand in Yaba case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Kumar De passed the order after hearing.

Earlier police produced him before chief metropolitan magistrate court and sought seven-day remand.  

Earlier in the day, metropolitan detective branch police detained Constable Mashakul Daula Al Masud, 30 with 190 pieces of Yaba tablets from Rampura Bridge area.

He is a constable of protection and protocol division of Razarbagh police line.
