DHAKA: The government extended the time-limit of contract with Professor Dr Mohammad Jinnat Ali (Jinnat Imtiaz Ali), director general of International Mother Language Institute (IMLI), for another year.

As per the contract, the appointment of the professor from the Department of Linguistics of Dhaka University was enacted from May 2.

Public Administrations Ministry issued a gazette notification on Monday evening in this regard.

Besides, in another order, contract-based first secretary of Bangladesh Embassy to Thailand Rawnak Ara Amin’s time-limit was extended for another year.

Rawnak Ara Amin’s appointment would be made active since July 12.
