NARAYANGANJ: Police seized huge fire arms from a bus of Nur Hossain, main accused of sensational seven killing case, in the district early Tuesday.
Siddhirganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Alauddin told banglanews, “Acting on tip-off, police conducted an operation in Shimrail Tekpara area around 12:45am.”
Meanwhile, police seized three revolvers with two rounds bullets, five rounds shotgun bullets and locally made arms from a bus named SB Paribahan.
Earlier on May 15, following a High Court order, in a drive police seized a revolver with eight rounds of bullet, eight rounds of cartridge of shotgun and deerskin along with other wealth including two sofa sets, two LCD TVs from the house of Nur Hossain.
On April 30, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarker and five others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of their abduction.
Panel mayor Nazrul’s father-in-law alleged that Nur Hossain gave three RAB members Tk six-crore to kill Nazrul.
