NETROKONA: Outgoing US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena opined that the main issue is full reformation and safety of readymade garments of Bangladesh, not getting generalized system of preference (GSP) back.       

The envoy came up with the observation at a press briefing at Netrokona Circuit House on Tuesday morning.    

He said that cautions have to take during building construction. Fire fighting systems have to ensure in every factories and then Bangladesh garment industry will become an attractive brand.

Mentioning his experience in Netrokona and Kishoreganj tour Mozena said that these two districts are very rich stock of food. The Haor and swamp lands of the districts are playing an important role in biological diversity.   

Deputy Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad, Police Super Jakir Hossain Khan and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Yusuf Ali were present, among other, in the press briefing.
