TIB to be unmasked, says ACC

DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Commissioner M Sahabuddin Chuppu on Wednesday categorically said Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) would be unmasked soon.

“TIB publishes so-called report sitting in air-conditioned room taking money from abroad. What is their transparency? Their face to be unmasked on time,” he added.

The ACC commissioner was addressing a programme at Shilpokola Academy in the capital on Wednesday.

He said, “Now-a-days TIB is acting like watch dog on ACC. Being motivated, it is criticizing every work of ACC instead of constructive criticism.”

The anti-graft body commissioner also said, “They are looking into our work while were sending big guns to jail for corruption and made people free from vicious cycle of MLM companies.”

Indicating TIB, Chuppu said, “Why don’t you praise our good works? Rather you are blaming us of prejudice, even when we look into the corruption of ruling party.”
