FENI: Supporters of slain Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul blocked Fulgazi-Porsuram regional highway and besieged Upazila Nirbahi Office (UNO) office demanding the trial of murderers.
A group of supporters also submitted a memorandum to UNO Maydul Haq after observing a human chain on Thursday.
On the other hand, another group of supporters also barricaded the highway that halted the road link of Fulgazi and Porsuram upazilas with Feni Sadar.
They demanded arrest of MP Nizam Hazari of Feni-2 constituency if needed.
