Rajbari: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday night stormed a hideout of suspected outlaws and seized firearms and ammunition at Radhakantapur in the district town.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-8 raided the house of one Nihar Ranjan at about 9pm and seized six firearms, five cartridges, a number of sharp weapons and some opium, said Captain of RAB Faridpur area Major Waliur Rahman.

But, none of the gang members could be caught as they fled the scene sensing the presence of the elite force.
