DHAKA: A young football fan was electrocuted in city’s Adabar area while he was hanging the Argentine flag on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as M Nazim, 18, hailed from Bhola district.
Uncle of the deceased Giasuddin said Nazim came in contact with an uncovered electric wire while he was hanging the banners and Argentina flag in the area around 5:00pm, leaving him injured critically.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 6:30pm.
