Bangladeshi shot dead in S. Africa

NOAKHALI: A Bangladeshi businessman was shot dead by the terrorists at Houghton Estate located in South Africa on Sunday.

The deceased is Rahmat Ullah, 30, son of M Abdul of Kabithat municipality of Noakhali.

Victim’s brother Shahid Ullah said three terrorists claimed extortion from Rahmat Ullah on Saturday late night at his business organization. As he denied giving the extortion terrorists shot two rounds of bullet on his chest and belly, leaving him critically injured.

Rahmat was rushed to a nearest hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon.
