BANDARBAN: The namaz-e-janaza of deceased BGB Naik Mizanur Rahman was held at Naikkhangchari BGB-31 Battalion office premises in the district on Monday morning.

The namaz-e janaza finished at 9:08am. 

BGB-31 Battalion all officers and colleagues of Mizanur were attended in the janaza. 

The body has sent to Mizanur’s village home at Debidhar of Comilla after janaza. 

He will be buried with the due state honour there. 

Earlier on Friday, BGP exchanged fire with BGB in Naikkhangchari frontier near international pillar no-52 at Panchhari border after BGP denied handing over the body of BGB member, whom they shot dead on Wednesday after abduction.
