FENI: A Feni court on Monday placed Zahid Chowdhury, joint general secretary of Fulgazi Upazila Awami League, on a three-day fresh remand in a case of killing upazila Chairman Ekramul Haque.

Senior judicial magistrate Khairul Amin passed the order when investigation officer (IO) produced Zahid before the court with seven-day remand plea.

IO of the case, also Officer-in-Charge of Feni Sadar Model Thana Abu Kalam Azad, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
