BARISAL: Two people, including a freedom fighter (FF), were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Dadurhat area of Bakerganj upazila on the district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as FF Motahar Biswas, 60, Anwar Begum, 40, hailed from Bhorpasha of the upazila.

Bakerganj Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) M Masud Talukader told banglanews that a human hauler locally known as Tomtom turned turtle on the road in the area at 12:00 noon, leaving four people injured critically.

The injured were rushed to the Bakerganj Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared Motahar and Anwar dead.
