BARISAL: A section of Barisal University students kept Vice-chancellor Dr. Md. Harunor Rashid confined to his office to press home 13-point demand.

He was confined from 12:00pm to filing this report at 3:00pm on Wednesday. 

Witnesses said that 16 departments of six faculties started demonstration for 13 points demand.

Economics department first started their demonstration at 10:00am while social science department, Soil Science department, Math department, marketing department and Public administration department joined and observed separate protest possessions and rally at 12:00pm.

After possession they confined VC to his office at noon and locked the main gate of the temporary campus.

The syndicate meeting was scheduled to hold at 5:00pm and the protesters staging their demonstration for meeting their demands through the meeting.
