2 killed in Cox’s Bazar road crash

COX’S BAZAR: Two people, including minor, were killed and four others injured in a read accident on Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf road at Ukhia upazila in the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Abu Bakar, 3, son of one Zahed Ullah and Halima Akhter, 14, daughter of a Moulvi Aziz Ahmed, hailed from Unchiprang area at Hoaikyang union of the upazila.

The injured were rushed to Ukhia Upazila Health Coplex.

Officer-in-Charge of Ukhia Thana Angsa Thowai told banglanews a truck knocked down a Cox’s Bazar-bound taxi, leaving two people dead on the spot and four others injured.
