DHAKA: State minister for labour and employment Md Mujibul Haque (Chunnu) has left Dhaka to Geneva to attend an international conference on labour.

He left Dhaka on Thursday at 9:00pm.

The ministry information and public relations officer SM Arifuzzaman told banglanews that the state minister had left Dhaka for Geneva city of Switzerland to attend an international labour conference.

The conference, which started on May 28, will continue till June 12, he added.

A 22-member team, led by Chunnu, will attend the conference.

The team had included ministry officials, factory owners and labour leaders.
