FENI: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 members detained one more suspected killer on Friday night for his alleged link in Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul killing case.

The detainee is – Abul Hossain Jahangir, 40.

Confirming the matter, RAB-7 Feni Camp Commander Major Mohiuddin told banglanews, “The law enforcers detained him around 11:30pm from Sharshadi area of Feni Sadar.”

Earlier, police arrested Abid, Gazi Salam Mahmud, Zahid, Sajal Islam Shipon, Sazzadul Islam Shifat, Chowdhury Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Jahidul Hasan Shorav and Helal Uddin and Shiblu, son of Counselor Abdullah Mahmud, Abdur Rab, general secretary of Kazirbag union AL unit of Sadar upazila and Sazib.

In cinematic style, Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul Haque was shot and burnt to death by miscreants On May 20.

Three others, who were on the vehicle, were also critically burnt in the incident that took place in front of Bilash Cinema Hall in Academy area.
