DHAKA: Bangladesh Railway appointed Mozammel Haque as new General Manager for East Zone.

Ministry for Railways issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday where it said Mozammel Haque was appointed for east zone and present GM Makbul Ahmed was appointed as General Manager of Railway Project Division.

Confirming the matter, railway ministry information officer Shariful Alam told banglanews that nine officials of Bangladesh Railway’s Eastern Zone, including its general manager (GM) Makbul Ahmed and Chief Engineer Mahbubul Haque have been transferred.

As a routine reshuffle in administration, they were transferred, he added.

Transferred officers are chief managing officer Mihir Kanti Guho, chief mechanical Engineer Abdul Motin and five others.
