DHAKA: The government has given approval the recruitment rules for the investigation organization’s officer and employee of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
The approval came from a meeting of the secretary-level committee on administrative development on Sunday.
Cabinet Secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan presided over the meeting held at the secretariat in the city.
After the meeting, the cabinet secretary told the journalists over the decision of the meeting.
On June 6, 2013, the government issued an order to create a total of 289 posts for the ICT investigation.
Later, the home ministry prepared the daft rules on the matter and sent it to the cabinet, which it approved on Sunday.
