HABIGANJ: Rapid Action Battalion recovered huge amount of arms and ammunitions from deep forest of Satchhari in the district on Sunday night.

Huge amount of arms and ammo including 54 anti-tank shells of canon, a barrel of machine gun and 633 rounds bullets of machine gun and rifle were recovered from the spot.

Srimangal Thana officer-in-charge Sana Saminur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

A press briefing will be held at 11:00am about this matter, he added. 

Earlier on June, 4-cache of arms and ammunition recovered from at a bunker in Satchhari forest.

The arms included- a rocket launcher, 222 anti-tank rocket shells, 248 chargers of the rocket launchers, four Machine Guns, five barrels, 12,888 round bullets, 19 magazines, two belts and lanced oil which are used to clean arms.
