NOAKHALI: Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Kankirhat Bazar under Senbagh upazila of the district on Monday night. 

The deceased were identified as Belal Hossain, 45 and Kawsar Ahmed, 8.

Witnesses said that a passenger bus rammed the CNG run auto rickshaw in the area around 10:00pm, leaving two passengers of auto rickshaw dead on the pot and three others injured. 

The injured were sent to local health complex.

Senbagh Thana Officer-in-Charge Mominul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
