MONGLA, BAGERHAT: Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive arrested ringleader of a robber gang along with arms from Sunderbans area of Bagerhat district early Tuesday.

The arrestee is Raosan, leader of ‘Sejo Bahini’.

Lieutenant Aladdin Nayan, Chief Operation Leader of Coast Guard West Zone, said being tipped off they conducted a drive in the area and arrested Raosan around 4:30am.

After getting information from the arrestee they recovered nine pipe guns, 16 rounds of bullet and huge amount of chocolate bombs from deep forest of Sunderbans.
