CHITTAGONG:  A young man was killed and eight people were injured as a passenger bus turned turtle at Tiger pass intersection in the city Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Raju, 28, of Ahmed Para in North Patenga.

Kotwali thana SI Golam Afsar told banglanews24.com.bd the Patenga-bound bus from Bohaddarhat turned turtle as the driver lost his control over steering at about 9am, killing Raju on the spot.

The injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Among them, condition of three was stated to be critical, hospital sources said.
