Savar: A fire broke out at a Mobil factory in Hemayetpur area of the upazila on Friday.

Riaz, Manager of Asia Oil Limited, said the factory came on fire around 12:00 pm and he suspected that miscreants blazed the factory for previous enmity as there was no cause of fire incident.

Being informed, two units of Savar Fire Services rushed to the spot to stop the blaze. Later, another three fire fighting units joined them and douse the fire around 2:30 pm. 

The losses of the fire incident were estimated at Tk 50 lakh, added Riaz.

Fire Service Station officer Anowar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
