DHAKA: The government knows nothing about the arrest of Nur Hossian, the prime accused of Narayanganj 7-murder, by Kolkata police.
Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) minister Syed Ashraful Islam came up with the claim in response to a query of journalists after inaugurating a programme on agriculture at Khamarbari in the capital Monday.
Syed Ashraf said, “The government does not know anything about the arrest incident of Nur Hossian. It has been informed about matter through media reports.”
About formalin, the LGRD minister said those, who are mixing formalin with fruits, they are the enemy of the people and they could be resisted by public awareness, not only by the law enforcers.
