DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in city’s Uttara House Building area on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified Mokhlesur Rahman Abir, 40, hailed from Bhuapur upazila of Tangail district.

Quoting witnesses, Assistant Sub Inspector of Uttara West Thana Hafiz, said a rashly driven passenger bus knocked his motorbike down. 

In the mean time another oil tanker trolley ran over Abir, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.
