Govt closely monitoring Iraq situation

DHAKA: The Government of Bangladesh is closely monitoring the situation in Iraq. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in regular communication with Bangladesh Embassy in Baghdad as well as the neighboring Bangladesh Missions in Iran, Kuwait, Jordan and Turkey in order to ensure safety and security of Bangladesh nationals in Iraq.

The government will take all necessary measures for the well-being of Bangladesh nationals in the country.
