TANGAIL: Rail communications of Dhaka resumed with country’s northern and western region after six hours halt on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier, it was halted as rail track was misplaced due to heavy rain in Kalihati Upazila on Saturday noon.
However, sources said to banglanews that rail communications have been restored around 4:30pm.
Confirming the matter Rajshahi zone’s Assistant Engineer Afzal Hossain said that two passenger trains, stranded on each side of the Analiabarhi bridge at Kalihati, have left for their destinations.
