BAGRERHAT: Police in separate drives arrested seven robbers from Pirojpur and Khulna district on Monday.

The arrestees are-- Shahjahan, 40, Mizan, 32, Alam, 48, Milon, 21, Habib, 38, Arif, 25 and Asharol, hails from Dhaka, Madaripur, Jhalkathi, Barisal and so on.

Among them, Shahjahan, Mizan and Alam were arrested from Pirojpur and others from Khulna.

Bagerhat SP Md Nizamul Haq Mollah made the disclosure in a press briefing at his at 12:30 pm.

The gang had been involved in robbery and kidnapping for long time in different districts in the southern region and admitted their involvement in a snatching case in Bhanga area of Faridpur, the SP added.
