FROM PARLIAMENT: Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor on Thursday insisted for a Tk 1,000 crore allocations in budget for ‘cultural revolution’ to come out of the wave of Jamaat-BNP’ fanatical politics.
Noor came up with the demand when speaking at the budget session of the parliament.
The minister said, “BNP-Jamaat are involved in the game of fanaticism this game has to be stopped; Cultural Revolution is necessary to make people aware.”
The more the cultural activities will be performed, the more the fanaticism will be decreased,” he added.
He thanked the finance minister for allocating Tk 100 crore in cultural activities and demanded for a cluster allocation of more Tk 1,000 crore.
