DHAKA: The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit in a meeting on Saturday at Islamic Foundation conference room in Baitul Mukkarram in the capital.

A press release from Islamic Foundation made the disclosure on Thursday.  

The meeting will begin at 7:15pm where foundation will review the news of moon sighting for the holy month of Ramadan of 1435 Hijri (Arabic calendar).  

Religious Affairs minister, also the chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting.  

People have been requested to inform about moon sighting through 9559443, 9555543, 9556407 and 9558337 and fax 9563397 numbers if they can see the moon from anywhere across the country.
