FROM PARLIAMENT (DHAKA): Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday said there would be no more problem in vehicular movement on roads and highways during Ramadan and Eid.

The communications minister made the remarks in reply to questions from lawmakers on roads and highways during the budget session at the parliament in the noon.

“No more problems would appear on roads during Ramadan, Eid and the rainy session,” the minister expressed hope mentioning that the ministry was able to keep road communications smooth during previous times.

He added: “We made home-goers’ travel safe and people have taken trips comfortably.”

Obaidul said, “The government has taken initiatives on road and highways construction, if their any problem.”

Admitting problems in internal coordination among officials, he minister said, “His team is working hard so that the homebound people can easily move to their destination safely.”
