DHAKA: Two pedestrians were killed and two others injured critically in a road accident in city’s Mirpur area on Friday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven passenger bus jumped on footpath in the area around 5:00pm, leaving two persons dead on the spot and two others injured critically.

The injured were rushed to local hospital.

Sub-Inspector of Pallabi Thana Rafiqul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
