COMILLA: Two minor boys drowned in a pond in Kalemsar village of Chandina upazila in the district on Friday.

The deceased were Nazmul, 8, son of Bashar Miah of the village and Zian, 10, son of Jahangir Alam of Madarpur village of the upazila.

Locals said that Nazmul and Zian drowned in the pond near the house when they went there for bath. After a fanatic search locals recovered the bodies floating in the pond. 

Officer-in-Charge Morshed of Chandina Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
