DHAKA: The probe committee on gruesome seven-murder in Narayanganj is waiting the return of Nur Hossain, the prime accused of the case, said the chief the committee.

Earlier on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali told the parliament that the issue of bringing back Nur had been discussed with Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj during her recent visit to Dhaka and Indian government has agreed to extradite him.”

Committee head, also additional secretary of Public Administration ministry, Shajahan Ali told banglanews, “The FM told the parliament that India agrees to deport Nur, so we awaiting his return to home.”

The committee will submit investigation reports on July 9 to the high court.

Earlier, the committee recorded the statement of different people of the district while Shajahan did not disclose details of the reordered statements. 

Now, the committee is waiting to take Nur’s statement.
