DHAKA: Following the previous years, no new taxes were imposed on houses in the proposed budget of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) for the fiscal year 2014-15.

DSCC administrator M Ibrahim Hossain disclosed the matter while presenting the budget of Tk 1,565.75 crore on Thursday noon.

He also said to take further steps to speed up ongoing processes of collecting revenue.

Ibrahim Hossain also said that they have been considering of increasing the opportunities for the city dwellers.
